Students’ Research Work

SRW is an important constituent of the University’s R&D activity and an integral element of high-quality specialist training. The University has Student Research Society as well as Young Researchers and Experts Council.

NArFU may support its talented students and young researchers by offering

  • financal support to R&D projects by students and young researchers on a competitive basis;
  • individual scholarships to winners and finalists of R&D projects competitions, as well as to research advisers of the winners;
  • development and improvement of the intellectual contests system (students’ academic competitions, contests, scientific and research-to-practice conferences);
  • encouragement of students’ participation in the international and all-Russian academic competitions and contests
  • guidance of talented students and young researchers (establishment and development of students’ scientific societies, involvement of students in the work of the research laboratories, research and education centers).

Ilya M. Startsev, 5-year student of the Institute of Humanitarian, Social and Political Sciences, winner in the all-Russian students’ academic contest in History

Olga N. Lvova, 2-year master’s degree student of NArFU Humanities Institute department in Severodvinsk, winner in the all-Russian students’ academic contest in Pedagogics and Psychology

K. Terentjev (post-graduate student of Institute of Theoretical and Applied Chemistry), I. Khadyko, M.Brilkov, and M.A. Anisimova (5-year students of Institute of Theoretical and Applied Chemistry), the winners at the all-Russian competition of R&D projects within Technical Sciences by students and post-graduate students (in bio-technology and bio-medical engineering categories) held within all-Russian Festival of Science. The competition was arranged by Moscow State University of Design and Technology.

Senkina (5-year student, group 55, specialist program (State and Municipal Management)), prize-winner at the international students’ academic contest Entrepreneurship and Management (St. Petersburg State Engineering and Economics University, October 24-29, 2011). 3rd prize winner in Regional Management category
