Science

 To ensure the development of Russia’s European North and Arctic, it is essential to make efforts to facilitate sustainable growth in education and innovations; to foster fundamental and applied research in pedagogy and psychology on the topics relevant to the North and the Arctic, that would see its outcomes made use of by the social sector and economy of the Euro-Arctic Region; to foster research into the mindset of the people employed in the Arctic and the Russian North; to explore vital safety functions and ways to promote inclusive education in the Euro-Arctic Region.

Research tasks:

• promoting fundamental and applied research in pedagogy and psychology on the topics relevant to the North and the Arctic; applying the achieved results in the social sector and economy of the Euro-Arctic Region
• exploring the potential of teacher education to generate innovations as a resource for sustainable growth in the circumpolar areas;
• exploring the physiology and the psychology of the people employed in the Arctic and the Russian North.
